After successfully completing a number of personal goals established in her treatment plan, a client is ready to secure employment. Many of our clients, due to the severities of their mental illness, have difficulty obtaining and maintaining employment. The services provided through the WCRC Supported Employment Program (WCRC-SEP) provide our clients with the opportunity to engage in competitive employment. WCRC-SEP counselors work with a client in the coordination and/or referrals to other agencies, vocational assessments, vocational counseling on entitlements, job placement, job development, and job coaching. Once a client has secure employment and successfully maintained it for a period of time, she has moved one step closer to independent living.

This program is funded by a fee for services with Louisiana Rehabilitation Services.
